Dubai Municipality has announced the temporary closure of Hatta Parks and community facilities as a precautionary measure against tropical cyclone Shaheen.
The authority has also deployed specialised teams to handle waterlogging and deal with the impact of the weather fluctuations.
For emergencies, people can contact the municipality via its mobile app or dial 800900.
Schools in Hatta had earlier shifted to distance learning.
