India has condemned the Iranian drone attack on the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone that injured three Indian nationals on Monday, stating that the strike was "unacceptable".
In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs called for the "immediate cessation of hostilities targeting civilian infrastructure and innocent civilians".
"India continues to stand for dialogue and diplomacy to deal with the situation, so that peace and stability may be restored across West Asia," the statement added.
India also called for free navigation and commerce across the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law and emphasised its readiness to support any efforts for a peaceful resolution.
