Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new naming partnership for one of its key metro stations.
Jebel Ali Metro Station will now be known as National Paints Metro Station for the next 10 years, following a naming rights agreement with National Paints Factories Co.
Strategically located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the station sits at the heart of one of Dubai’s fastest-growing industrial hubs.
The deal was signed between National Paints and Hypermedia, with Mada Media - the RTA’s appointed concessionaire overseeing the agreement.
The RTA Rail Agency's CEO Abdul Mohsen Kalbat called the move a sign of growing public-private collaboration, saying it reflects the government’s commitment to creating new business and job opportunities.
Mada Media’s CEO, Mohamad Al Hammadi, says the partnership transforms metro stations into high-impact branding hubs, while National Paints’ Managing Director Samer Sayegh called it a reflection of the company’s long-standing commitment to the Emirates’ urban development.
From July through October, the RTA will begin updating all signage and digital systems to reflect the new station name, including onboard announcements and public transport apps.
