The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has reduced judicial fees levied by the courts and the Public Prosecution Department.
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has issued a new law regarding this.
The fee reduction is applicable for civil and commercial lawsuits, rental disputes and executive cases, with the fee cap determined by the lawsuit’s value.
The fees for appealing judgments before the Courts of Appeal and Cassation will also be slashed, as per the new law.
The initiative aim to makes it easier for litigants to approach the courts and enable them to file lawsuits without bearing additional financial burdens.
