UAE aid organisations continue to deliver essential supplies to those affected by Cyclone Chapala on Yemen’s Socotra Island. 30 tonnes of relief material have been distributed during the latest phase of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation’s assistance campaign. The package, which includes food items, medicines, tents and blankets are expected to benefit thousands of people displaced by the cyclone. The UAE delegation has also checked on the status of patients undergoing treatment at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Socotra.
