The safety of all those involved in the education sector is the UAE's top priority.
That's according to a statement made by Abdallah Al Karam, the Director-General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
This comes after a recent announcement made by the UAE Ministry of Education to temporarily close schools and universities for four week, in a bid to control the spread of COVID-19.
Al Karam explained that people's support and cooperation is needed to get through the current situation, in order to ensure a smooth learning experience for students.
He also clarifies how the KHDA is keeping the public, especially parents, informed with the latest updates.
