The UAE’s Ministry of Defence announced the launch of a joint military exercise, “Falcon Strike 3,” in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
The drills are part of “the joint multilateral military exercises conducted by the Ministry of Defense with the forces of brotherly and friendly countries with the aim of gaining more field experience, raising combat efficiency in different environments, and developing military concepts and doctrines among the parties participating in the exercise,” the Ministry said.
Details regarding the participant nations have not been disclosed.
A three-week joint exercise held in April 2024, named “Desert Flag 9,” saw the participation of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, the United States, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
In July, the UAE and China conducted joint air force drills in China’s Xinjiang region.
