More than 250,000 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in Dubai alone.
That's according to Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qatami, the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), who spoke at a press briefing on Thursday.
Al Qatami's announcement comes just a day after the UAE announced that more than half a million tests for the coronavirus have been conducted nation-wide thus far.
He also revealed during the press briefing that anyone can get tested in any of the allocated facilities across Dubai, however, priority is given to the elderly, people of determination, children, pregnant women and those who suffer from chronic diseases.
