Authorities in Abu Dhabi are reminding vehicle owners to register in the Darb road toll system before using the toll gates.
The grace period for unregistered cars to pass through the gates is 10 days, and after that fines will be imposed.
There's a AED 100 fine the first time an unregistered vehicle crosses any of the four toll gates, while the amount is AED 200 for a second offence and AED 400 for a third violation.
Registrations can be done through the website https://darb.itc.gov.ae or the Darb app.
