The UAE has launched a mental health support hotline for individuals struggling during the pandemic.
800-4672 (HOPE) is a toll-free support line that will enable citizens and residents to reach out to volunteer psychologists and other experts for support.
The service, launched by the National Programme for Happiness and Wellbeing, is available in English and Arabic.
Ohoud bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness and Wellbeing, highlighted the importance of helping individuals with mental health conditions, particularly in light of the impact COVID-19 has had on their psychological wellbeing.
She expressed her appreciation to all the consultants and psychologists who volunteered via the 'Mental Support Line'.
