Dubai Police have officially unveiled a new police station in the Al Khawaneej area.
It was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, in the presence of other senior officials.
Lt. Gen. Al Marri said the new facility reflects Dubai Police's keenness to provide a secure environment that contributes to making it the safest and happiest city in the world.
Smart Police Station (SPS)
At the inauguration ceremony, attendees toured the newly-established facility's smart police station (SPS) that provides services in seven languages to customers round the clock and without human intervention.
It also enabled them to complete transactions smoothly without visiting the traditional police station or waiting in queues.
Daily Brief Hall
The 'Daily Brief Hall' at the new station will use artificial intelligence to combat and reduce crime in the emirate. It will also employ an intelligent security prediction system to ease communication between the officials concerned.
Suburban Patrol
Attendees were also introduced to the newly-formed smart patrol equipped to handle emergencies in desert areas and rough terrain.
