Starting November 1, the speed limit on Sheikh Khaled bin Sultan Street in Al Ain city will be reduced from 100 kmph to 80 kmph.
Making the announcement on their offficial social media handle, the Abu Dhabi Police said the speed reduction will apply on both sides of the street.
The authority urged motorists to abide by the new speed limit, adding that the move aims to curb traffic accidents and ensure the safety of road users.
