Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unified the working hours across its 28 vehicle technical testing centres.
Tasjeel's Hatta and Jebel Ali Centres are the only exception.
The new working hours are 7:00 am to 10:30 pm, and the changes will come into effect on Friday, October 14.
Instead of Saturday, the weekend holiday for service provider centres will be on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Friday's working hours will be split into two shifts with the morning shift running from 7:00 am to 12:00 midday, and the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
Tasjeel Hatta will operate from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Tasjeel Jebel Ali from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
On Friday, Tasjeel Jebel Ali will only operate in the morning shift, from 7:00 am to 12:00 midday, while the working hours at Tasjeel Hatta will be limited to the evening shift, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
