All UAE ministries and federal entities will enjoy a two-day holiday in the New Year, with Saturday, January 1 and Sunday, January 2, marked off on the calendar.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announcement on Sunday comes as government entities and schools move to a Monday to Friday working week in the new year.
Work will resume on Monday, January 3.
