Novak Djokovic is the next in line to receive the UAE's Golden Visa, after football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 32-year-old tennis player will arrive as a resident of the emirates next week as he takes part in the Dubai Duty Free Men's Tennis Championship.
Celebrated footballers including Luis Figo, Roberto Carlos, Paul Pogba, Romalu Lukaku and Miralem Pjanic are also set to be granted the long-term visa.
It comes after the UAE Cabinet approved the issuing of golden visas for talented athletes.
According to media reports, tennis star Roger Federer is expected to join this elite list soon.
