Dubai Police have impounded 49 vehicles and 25 motorbikes and issued 3,153 traffic violations during the recent Eid Al Etihad celebrations.
Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Traffic, said some motorists exploited the occasion to perform illegal stunts and races, endangering lives and disturbing residents.
He stressed these actions contradict Emirati values and warned that police will take firm measures against reckless behaviour.
Families are urged to monitor their children and ensure celebrations remain safe and respectful.
During the 54th UAE National Day celebrations, several young individuals engaged in unsafe and reckless behavior, leading to the impoundment of 49 vehicles and 25 motorbikes, along with 3,153 traffic violations.
