Radar fines in Ras Al Khaimah will be reduced by 50 per cent from December 5.
Ras Al Khaimah Police explained that this reduction will help motorists with accumulated fines to settle their dues.
The initiative marks the UAE’s 50th National Day and will run until January 3, 2022.
The authority emphasized that the discount includes all road infractions in the emirate, except severe traffic violations.
Vehicle impoundments and traffic points will also be cancelled.
Other Emirates', including Sharjah, Ajman, and Fujairah, also announced a discount on fines in November.
