Dubai announces free public parking during Eid Al Etihad holidays

Parking will be free across most public spaces in Dubai during the upcoming Eid Al Etihad holidays.

All paid zones, excluding multi-level terminals and Al Khail Gate N365 zone, will be free of charge on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2, which means motorists can enjoy three days of free parking as Sundays are already free of charge.

The parking meters will be re-activated on Wednesday, December 3.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that its customer happiness centres and vehicle technical testing centres will be closed from December 1-2, while Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and RTA Headquarters will operate as usual, 24/7.

Public transport timings will also be adjusted during the holidays.

Saturday, November 29: 5:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Sunday, November 30: 8:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2: 5:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Saturday, November 29: 6:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Sunday, November 30: 9:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2: 6:00 am – 1:00 am (next day)

Changes to bus schedules during the Eid Al Etihad holidays will be updated via the S’hail app.
