The UAE has announced a Higher Education Scholarship Programme for frontline workers and their children.
It's in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who is also the Chairman of the Frontline Heroes Office.
Eligible frontline heroes and their children will have access to scholarships for government and private universities and colleges across the UAE, starting from the 2021-2022 academic year.
The initiative, launched by the Frontline Heroes Office, is supported by Sandooq Al Watan and the private sector, and is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
Eligible applicants can submit their scholarship request along with supporting documents and the acceptance letter from their chosen university or college to Education@FrontlineHeroes.ae.
The Frontline Heroes Office will send the scholarship requests directly to the relevant university or college.
