Sharjah Municipality has announced the temporary closure of all parks in the city, due to the unstable weather.
The parks will reopen to the public once the weather conditions stabilise.
The municipality added that its emergency teams are on high alert to deal with floods and other issues caused by the rain.

Fire 'extinguished' in drone incident near Dubai Airport
Dubai Civil Defence teams have successfully "extinguished" a fire caused by an impact on one of the fuel tanks near Dubai International Airport early on Monday.
