His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, has discussed the latest developments in Sudan with the country's Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council.
In a call with Lt. General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, His Highness underscored the Emirates' keenness to support all peaceful political solutions and initiatives aimed at de-escalating and ending the crisis.
Sheikh Mansour also expressed his thanks for Sudan's help in the evacuation of UAE citizens and other nationalities.
Al-Burhan expressed his gratitude to the UAE for its stance in pushing for stability, security and peace in Sudan, while highlighting a shared desire for further cooperation to advance the interests of the two nations.
