The Saqr Humanitarian Ship has arrived at Egypt’s Al Arish Port, carrying more than 4,000 tonnes of aid for the people of Gaza.
The cargo includes food supplies, winter clothing, shelter materials, medicines and medical equipment — all aimed at easing the suffering of civilians, especially children, women and the elderly.
Ahmed Rashid Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, said the ship carries a message of compassion and solidarity.
On arrival, the ship was received by the UAE Humanitarian Aid Team in Al Arish. Relief supplies are now being unloaded and transferred to the UAE’s logistics centre, ahead of delivery into Gaza in coordination with local authorities and humanitarian partners.
The UAE's Ambassador to Egypt, Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, praised the efforts of the aid teams on the ground, saying they reflect the UAE’s deep-rooted commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.
This is the twelfth UAE relief ship sent to Gaza as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.
