The UAE has carried out the tenth drop of humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip, the Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence confirmed.
The airdrop was carried by joint crews of the UAE's and Egypt's Air Force.
Two planes carried 33 tonnes of food and supplies, bringing the total amount of aid dropped since the launch of Operation "Birds of Goodness" to 438 tonnes since the start of the operation.
It comes within the framework of “Operation Gallant Knight,” which was directed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the Palestinian people.

In a post on social media platform X, the UAE Ministry of Defence wrote: "This assistance is facilitated through collaborative endeavours of charitable organisations in the UAE, including the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and other philanthropic entities, with the aim of extending humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza."
