The UAE and India have reviewed their joint efforts in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This came during a video call between His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
Their discussions focused on the exchange of medical expertise as well as ways to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Sheikh Abdullah hailed India’s decision to send nursing teams to the Emirates and praised their contributions to the UAE Volunteers campaign.
Meanwhile, the Indian minister thanked the UAE for its medical assistance in dealing with the pandemic.
