The UAE and Sweden have signed an agreement on political consultations and explored ways to enhance cooperation across various sectors, including economy, trade, education and culture.
The deal was made during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Swedish counterpart Maria Malmer Stenergard in Stockholm.
Sheikh Abdullah is on a working visit to the Nordic country.
He also held talks with Swedish Minister of Defence Pål Jonson.
Sheikh Abdullah and Benjamin Dousa, Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, also witnessed the signing of an MoU to enhance investment and business opportunities between the two countries.
