The UAE confirmed 1,076 new cases of COVID-19 from 309,026 tests on Sunday.
Another 1,649 people have been given the all-clear, taking the overall recovery tally to 690,926.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 2,020.
A total of 709,378 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,432 are currently active.
