UAE airlines have extended the suspension of flights to and from Khartoum until August 31 due to the "deteriorating situation of civil unrest in Sudan".
In an update on their official website, Emirates Airline and flydubai said flights to Sudan stand cancelled "until further notice", adding that they are closely monitoring the situation.
The airlines have urged passengers impacted by the move to contact their booking agents for alternative travel arrangements.
Emirates confirmed that "updates" will be "published in due course".
