The UAE relief team has continued its humanitarian operations with its sixth aid shipment to Afghanistan on Tuesday, bringing the total aid provided to around 250.3 tonnes transported through seven planes and 21 trucks.
The aid packages shipped following the sixth delivery include 6,696 food baskets,1,030 tents, 850 blankets, and a shipment of dates weighing 28 tonnes.
In Samangan Province, a total of 1,188 food baskets, 450 tents, and 850 blankets were distributed, along with the arrival of the seventh plane carrying a shipment of dates to support affected families.
The efforts are being conducted under the directives of the UAE's wise leadership and as an embodiment of the values of generosity and solidarity established by the late Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
