UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Chad's leader Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno have reviewed bilateral relations during a meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
The leaders also explored opportunities for further collaboration in several key sectors including economic, trade, development and renewable energy.
Sheikh Mohamed affirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with African nations to promote progress and shared economic growth, national news agency Wam reported.
Itno attended the UAE–Chad Trade and Investment Forum in Abu Dhabi as part of his working visit.
The Chad President noted that the Forum achieved significant progress in expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially related to investment and economy and launched the ‘Chad Connection 2030’ national development plan.
