The UAE will lift a travel ban on Lebanon, allowing citizens to visit the country from May 7.
On Sunday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said citizens will be allowed to travel "after taking the necessary measures".
They must register on the "Tawajudi" service, detailing where they will be staying, reason for visit, and when they would return. Failure to do so will lead to legal action, the ministry added.
It said the measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
The decision comes days after Lebanese leader Joseph Aoun held talks with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
At the time, the ministry had announced that "the two sides agreed to allow citizens to travel by implementing necessary procedures and mechanisms to ease movement between the two countries".
The UAE had introduced the travel ban to Lebanon in 2021.

- It is mandatory for UAE citizens to register on the "Tawajudi" service before traveling to Lebanon, either through UAE airports or from any other country. They must also update the service when they return home.
- Those who fail to complete the registration will be prohibited from travel
- Citizens must share all details of their travel, including place of residence in Lebanon, reason for visit, emergency contact numbers and changes to travel plans.
- Failure to register or update their information will lead to legal accountability.
