The UAE has strongly condemned the ongoing escalations committed by the Israeli military in Syrian territory, stating it as a clear violation of 1974 Disengagement Agreement that created a UN-patrolled zone separating the countries' forces.
In a statement posted on national news agency Wam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) emphasised its categorical rejection of any infringement on Syria’s sovereignty or threats to its security and stability in a statement released on Wednesday.
The statement also highlights the UAE’s unwavering solidarity with Syria, supporting its territorial stability and integrity, and backing all efforts aimed at fulfilling their goals for security, peace, dignity, peaceful coexistence and development.

Israeli drone strikes have recently killed six Syrian soldiers Wednesday, along with the entry of 60 Israeli soldiers to Syrian territory near Mount Hermon earlier on Monday.
The UAE called on the international community to take immediate action to halt the repeated attacks on Syrian territory and to stop Israeli's action, which may lead to increased regional tensions and threaten peace and security worldwide.
