Nearly 10,000 people in Sudan are set to benefit from the UAE's latest humanitarian drive to help those affected by the recent floods.
The aid campaign is being implemented by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
Food, medicines, shelter materials and other essential supplies are being distributed in areas that have been affected the most.
The UAE delegation is also working closely with Sudanese officials to source items from the local market in order to expand the scale of the relief programme.
