The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday welcomed Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
The meeting in Abu Dhabi focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring opportunities in various sectors including development, economy, trade, investment, and renewable energy.
Both leaders expressed their commitment to fostering stronger ties to promote development and prosperity for their countries.
They also covered mutual interests and regional and international developments, with Sheikh Mohamed reaffirming the UAE’s dedication to advancing cooperation with African nations.
Tshisekedi praised the UAE’s efforts in humanitarian and developmental initiatives across Africa and its support for communities affected by crises.
