UAE, Egypt discuss regional developments and stability

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed regional developments with his Egyptian counterpart Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the two ministers spoke of the situation in the Middle East region and ways to enhance regional and international efforts to end the escalation and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law.

The two ministers also discussed the need to work towards achieving sustainable security and stability in the region, in order to meet the aspirations of its people for development and prosperity.

Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty spoke about the deep-rooted relations between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and supports their development goals.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the continuous growth and development witnessed in the paths of bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
