The UAE floating hospital in Al Arish, Egypt has received five new patients from Gaza for medical treatment, as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians.
The facility, based at Al Arish Port, has now treated a total of 66 patients since operations began. Medical teams carried out initial assessments on arrival, with treatment plans put in place across a range of specialities.
The hospital is operating under the UAE’s “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, which aims to provide medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict in Gaza.
Officials say the floating hospital continues to deliver care through teams working around the clock, offering services to patients transferred from the territory.
The initiative is part of wider UAE efforts to provide support amid the ongoing humanitarian situation in Gaza.
