UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Make it in the Emirates forum at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
During the discussions, both sides explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across key sectors, including the economy, trade and investment, renewable energy, innovation, technology and artificial intelligence.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties in support of shared goals for long-term development, progress and prosperity for their nations.
The meeting also touched on regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East and its implications for peace and security.
Mahama condemned recent Iranian attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, describing them as a violation of sovereignty and international law, and a threat to regional stability.
