The UAE government is holding remote meetings to discuss the country’s post-COVID-19 future.
It comes following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Officials from more than 100 federal government and local entities, as well as ministers and international experts are part of the online discussions that will be running for another two days.
They have been asked to come up with a nationwide strategy to respond to the economic and social consequences of the pandemic.
In a cabinet meeting last week, Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE will be forming the biggest government team in the country's history to formulate a post-COVID-19 strategy.
