The UAE has unveiled the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Fellowships initiative to train the next generation of government leaders.
Two specialised master’s programmmes will be offered: in Economic Strategies and International Policy, and in Artificial Intelligence for the Government Sector.
These programmes will be delivered in collaboration with world-renowned institutions including Oxford, MIT, Georgetown, NYU and Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
The first phase will see 200 Emirati professionals selected from government entities across the country. Half will focus on economic strategy and international policy, while the other half will specialise in AI for the public sector.
Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed Al Gergawi, emphasized the UAE’s commitment to building a future-ready government workforce capable of driving economic growth, digital transformation and evidence-based policymaking.
Government entities across the UAE are now being invited to nominate candidates, as the country continues to build leadership capacity in key areas critical to its long-term development.
