The UAE has launched an urgent relief campaign to support families in Paraguay rebuild their lives after recent thunderstorms left several homes, buildings and properties severely damaged.
The assistance, allocated through the UAE Aid Agency, comes under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The UAE Aid Agency says its teams are working with local authorities and international organisations to make sure assistance reaches those most in need.
Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Amiri, chairman of the agency, said the UAE remains committed to humanitarian solidarity and international cooperation, and stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to support communities affected by natural disasters and emergencies.
