President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan offered his condolences to President Xi Jinping after severe floods killed at least 25 people in Henan province.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar messages to the Chinese leader.
Severe floods have caused havoc in Henan, forcing more than 100,000 people to evacuate from the capital city of Zhengzhou.

Dams and reservoirs have swelled to warning levels and thousands of troops are taking part in the rescue effort in the province.
