UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has offered condolences to Norway following the death of King Harald V at the age of 89.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, also sent similar messages to King Harald's son and Norway's new ruler King Haakon VIII, previously known as the Crown Prince.
The new king has chosen the personal motto "Everything for Norway", in keeping with the motto picked by his father, grandfather and great-grandfather since Norway's modern-day monarchy was established in 1905.
