The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is urging private sector companies in areas most affected by the current weather to implement remote work on Friday, December 19.
The directive applies to roles where remote work is possible, and aims to protect employee health and safety during the exceptional conditions.
The Ministry also called on all private sector establishments nationwide to take extra precautions and apply occupational health and safety measures.
It emphasised the importance of complying with instructions from local authorities in each emirate regarding business operations during the adverse weather.
