UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to explore ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the areas of economy, investment and development.
During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE’s support for efforts to reinforce stability and security in the Caucasus region. He emphasized the UAE’s commitment to peace and diplomacy as core principles of its foreign policy.
Pashinyan thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his ongoing support in strengthening bilateral relations and reaffirmed Armenia’s desire to expand cooperation across various fields.
In a separate meeting at Qasr Al Shati, Sheikh Mohamed explored ways to boost ties, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, food security, renewable energy, environmental action, with the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
During the talks, Sheikh Mohammed underlined the importance of joint efforts to promote peace, stability, and security regionally and globally.
