UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has landed in Cairo for a fraternal visit to Egypt.
He was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi upon arrival at the Cairo International Airport.
The leaders spoke briefly at the airport's VIP lounge, where they highlighted the deep rooted and historical relations shared between the two countries, national news agency Wam reported.
Both leaders have met on several occasions over the year, with Sheikh Mohamed visiting country on a fraternal visit last month.
These meetings look at the need to foster peace and stability across the region, and prioritise the wellbeing of its nations and communities.
