UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has praised the efforts of the Indian government in hosting a global summit to "promote economic growth and foster international collaboration".
Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in India on Wednesday, Sheikh Mohamed said he was happy to "join friends from India and across the globe (to) embark on a collaborative journey to discover pathways to prosperity and progress for our people and nations".
He lauded the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for hosting a Summit that "has become an important international forum for the exchange of expertise in economic growth and investment".
Sheikh Mohamed also extended his appreciation to Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for his insightful remarks during the opening ceremony.
Taking to his official social media handles, he said, the "UAE firmly believes in the power of building bridges of cooperation to promote economic growth, and fostering international collaboration to address global challenges and help achieve stability and prosperity for all".

Held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the three-day summit is being attended by numerous heads of state, government officials, decision-makers, and business and finance professionals from around the world.
