The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday welcomed Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, who is on a working visit to the UAE.
During their meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, the two leaders discussed ways to boost cooperation between the UAE and Georgia, focusing on investment, trade, agriculture, renewable energy and sustainability.
They also exchanged views on regional and global issues, particularly around promoting peace, security and development.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasised the importance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries, which came into effect last year, as a significant step forward in their economic ties.
Kobakhidze thanked His Highness for the warm reception and reaffirmed Georgia's commitment to strengthening its partnership with the UAE to drive sustainable economic growth.
Both leaders expressed confidence that UAE-Georgian relations will continue to grow stronger, aligning with their shared development goals.
