UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call on Monday from Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya.
During the call, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and exploring promising opportunities to enhance cooperation in various fields, particularly in investment and development, in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries.
The leaders reviewed progress in economic, investment, renewable energy, technological, and digital infrastructure cooperation. This cooperation aims to contribute to sustainable economic prosperity for their respective peoples and meet their aspirations for the future.
In February, the UAE and Kenya announced the completion of Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) talks, paving the way for its formal signing at a later date. This agreement aims to build on the growing economic and trade momentum between the two countries in recent years and create new opportunities for economic cooperation.
