UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will begin a state visit to Germany on Wednesday, September 9.
During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed will meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Friedrich Merz to explore opportunities to deepen cooperation, particularly in the economic and development sectors.
The discussions will take place within the framework of the strategic partnership between the UAE and Germany.
The talks will also address regional and international developments and issues of mutual concern, national news agency Wam added.
The UAE president previously visited Germany in June 2019, where bilateral talks were held between the two nations.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1972, with a strategic partnership announced in 2004.
