The UAE and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed their strong bilateral ties during high-level talks in Riyadh on Wednesday.
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss strategic cooperation, as well as key regional and international developments.
The leaders focused on recent developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Both sides stressed the need for a just and lasting peace based on the two-state solution — one that promotes regional stability and serves the interests of all nations.
Following the talks, Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted a luncheon in honour of the UAE President and his accompanying delegation.
