The UAE has sent relief aid to southern Ethiopia following landslides caused by heavy rainfall, which resulted in loss of life and significant damage to property.
The aid was sent under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as part of the country's ongoing humanitarian efforts to support brotherly and friendly nations.

Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, affirmed the UAE's continued commitment to supporting brotherly and friendly nations during times of crisis and disaster.
She noted that this support reflects the country's dedication to enhancing global humanitarian and relief work. She further added that this response embodies the UAE's humanitarian values and its ongoing efforts to assist affected communities worldwide.
